Kate did a great job of explaining to them replacement options when she visited their house. When they visited the showroom, Chris stepped in and showed them all the samples since Kate was out. Tom installed the door with professionalism and a friendly personality!. It was a wonderful experience!

We had damage to our garage door. We contacted your company to get an estimate on a new door. We made an appointment with Kate Werner. She arrived promplty and knew her material well. My name is Beth Grose and one of your technicians came to work on my garage doors last Friday. I believe his name was Adam but I can not remember. I wanted to let you know that he was wonderful! He did a very thorough job of evaluating the problem and spent considerable amount of time making sure the problem was properly addressed. He replaced the necessary parts and made sure everything worked well. My doors are acting like they are brand new even though they are almost 20 years old. I live in Lattamoor, a gated community of 93 homes located in north Durham. Our original gate operator system was going on 12 years old and was exhibiting many breakdowns and malfunctions in the last 2-3 years. A committee was formed, headed by myself and 2 other residents, Sharon Leslie and Debby Leonard, to research a replacement for our aging system. We contacted a total of 5 local companies, including Custom Door & Gate, to meet with us and recommend a system that would suit our needs. Of the 3 companies that responded, all 3 recommended the exact same products - Door King 9150 Gate Operator and 1834 Telephone Access. All 3 quotes were within a close price range.
We chose Custom Door & Gate because of your salesman, Mike Burns. His entire demeanor, from his product knowledge to respectful attention to our questions, was exceptional.
During installation, James Parker was very impressive. He explained the components of our new system and addressed all our concerns and questions in a professional and confident manner.

I wanted to make sure to let you know how pleased my wife and I are with the help we got Monday evening. In short, the service technician on call exceeded all of our expectations and even fixed a nagging garage door light issue. He fixed our garage door with ease and was extremely polite even though it was after hours. You truly run a great operation and maintain a high level of customer service.

I wanted to let you know what a good man you have in Mike Burns. I called Mr. Burns a couple of weeks ago in reference to the entrance gate at West Condominiums needing repair. He ordered the necessary parts to repair and assisted me in getting these parts in asap. Anything I have called and asked him to do, he has done so promptly and willingly. He has gone above and beyond for me on this job and I wanted to let you know. Also, your two installers that did the work this am were very efficient. They came in, did their work, cleaned up after themselves and went on their way. They were very pleasant and did not disrupt the normal routine at West. The whole experience with Custom Overhead Doors has been a very good one and if someone drives into our gate again, Mike will be the first person I call.

I can't thank you enough for getting Shane to our house yesterday afternoon. He's a delightful guy, very polite to Kristin and the kids and did a great job installing our new motor.
